  • $149,739 - $173,174 plus superannuation

 

About the role

 

The Manager for Service Planning leads the development and implementation of complex projects that support the delivery of new public early childhood education and care services across NSW.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the design and delivery of evidence-informed programs that support public early learning educators and leaders to implement new ECEC services, improve quality, and strengthen transition-to-school practices.
  • Oversee the development, delivery and implementation of a portfolio of ECEC projects.
  • Develop and apply strategies for effective monitoring and evaluation of ECEC projects.

 

The Early Childhood Outcomes Division leads the Early Years Commitment program, delivering major investments in children’s development and early education during the first five years of life. The division supports families to access the services they need, strengthens and grows the early childhood education and care sector, and invests in the early childhood workforce while driving long-term system reform.

About you –

 

As the Manager Service Planning you will be able to demonstrate the following

 

  • Providing expert advice to stakeholders on policy, legislation, the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Manage relationships with schools, the ECEC sector, communities, families and departmental partners to support improved outcomes for children.
  • Oversee data and evidence collection and analysis to inform planning and decision-making.
  • Manage all aspects of planning, developing and implementing ECEC projects.
  • Prior experience or knowledge in the Early Childhood Education and Care Sector.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

 

Essential requirements of the role

  • Appropriate Early Childhood Education and Care Tertiary qualifications
  • A Valid Working with Children Check
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
