  • Salary ranges from $125,693 to $138,510 plus employers’ contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

 

About the role

Training Services plays a pivotal role in connecting individuals, communities, and employers with vocational education and training opportunities. Our programs aim to build skills, create career pathways, and support workforce development across New South Wales.

 

The role engages with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities, to inform of opportunities provided by Training Services, including Aboriginal Programs and local training and employment opportunities.

About you

You are a dynamic and strategic leader with a strong track record of building high-performing teams and fostering collaborative workplace relationships. With a focus on service excellence, you drive the effective delivery of integrated vocational education and training services, regulatory functions, and quality assurance across a Regional Centre.

 

The preferred candidate will:

 

  • Have a deep understanding of the Vocational Education and Training sector.
  • Be a culturally responsive leader who is passionate about creating opportunities through vocational education and training, particularly for Aboriginal people and communities.
  • Have proven ability to manage staff and resources effectively.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

 

Essential requirements of the role

 

  • This position is designated for the employment of an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.   1. The Training Services Manager directly engages Stakeholders including Community, Employers, Apprentices/Trainees and Registered Training Organisations.
