- Competitive remuneration ranging from $129,464 to $142,665 plus super & annual leave loading.
About the role
We are seeking a highly organised Lead Application Analyst with strong leadership, coordination, and technical skills. You will oversee the operational support of key school applications and core systems, managing incidents, coordinating school onboarding, strengthening processes, and ensuring reliable service delivery across multiple platforms. The role requires strong application expertise, operational oversight, and the ability to build effective relationships with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
- Provide expert second-level support across major school applications, using your knowledge of system architecture, integrations, data models, and backend components.
- Lead operational support activities, including incidents, requests, onboarding, and documentation.
- Analyse complex technical issues, identify root causes, and coordinate solutions with internal teams and vendors.
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and guide team members in best-practice support.
- Contribute to upgrades, deployments, release readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will bring:
- Strong technical background in cloud platforms, integrations, API-driven systems, data models, and databases.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications and resolving complex issues.
- Ability to communicate technical detail and high-level impacts clearly to business stakeholders.
- Strong coordination, documentation, and organisational discipline.
- Familiarity with ITIL and the application support lifecycle.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
