About the role

 

  • Provide expert advice to the Director, Governance and Improvement and SI Executives to embed effective project, program and portfolio governance across SI
  • Design and implement governance strategies, frameworks, and processes that enable the successful delivery of School Infrastructure’s projects, divisional plans and achievement of desired outcomes.
  • Advise the Deputy Secretary and School Infrastructure Executives on project, program and portfolio governance, in an infrastructure setting, supporting high-quality, collective decision-making on strategic objectives.
  • Lead a team to deliver organisational and project-driven data insights that guide executive decision-making and support the achievement of School Infrastructure’s priority outcomes.

An opportunity to lead the establishment of School Infrastructure’s dedicated governance team, stewarding project/program/portfolio oversight, cost control, and risk management as our division delivers on and enables the Plan for NSW Public Education.

Essential requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant knowledge, skills and experience in finance, economics, business management or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
