Manager Public Private Partnership

  • Clerk Grade 11/12 – Starting alary from $145,378 to $168,130 plus Superannuation and annual leave loading

 

 

About the role

The Manager Public Private Partnership plays a key role in overseeing two long-term Public Private Partnership (PPP) contracts, ensuring collaboration with private sector providers deliver high-quality, cost effective and well-maintained Schools across NSW.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead a dedicated team to plan, develop and deliver PPP projects, ensuring best practice on contract management and deliverables are met
  • Manager the end-to-end PPP contracts and its performance, including contract modification, negotiation and dispute resolution to fulfill the departments procurement and contractual commitments.  
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure their needs are met through the project lifecycle.
  • Represent SINSW in PPP negotiations and planning, ensuring the department’s interest while, driving optimal outcomes for all stakeholders.

About you

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with expertise in contract management, stakeholder engagement and project delivery. You will be solution focused and have a natural ability to manage and foster complex partnerships.

 

You will also demonstrate:

  • Ability to navigate complex negotiations and balance competing interests and deliver effective outcomes
  • Strong and communication skills to deliver high quality reports, briefings and correspondence
  • Understanding and maintain abreast on best practice standards, relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

 

Key knowledge and experience

 

 

Essential requirements of the role

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent workplace experience in project management, procurement/contract management, or facilities management.
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Willingness to travel when required
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

This option would allow the WWCC to naturally expire without further communication needed with the employee.
