About School Infrastructure NSW

School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades, and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.

 

About the role

  • Undertake research, development and application of complex analytical tools, systems, and processes to meet agreed team priorities, service standards and objectives, and support high quality strategic analysis and decision making.
  • Contribute to the back-end development of digital planning models and analytical tools, processes, and systems.
  • Ensure strategic planning decisions are based on a strong and rigorous evidence base, together with the preparation of briefings and other correspondence.
  • Provision of specialist advice and best practice digital solutions for the design and development of efficient and robust data transformation and integration workflows, processes and frameworks that meet specialised School Infrastructure NSW stakeholder needs and support strategic planning objectives will also be key to your role.

About you

Your experience in delivering innovative data solutions utilising a range of analytical tools will enable you to deliver strategic outcomes. Your ability to influence and contribute to team development will allow you to support ongoing continuous improvement and innovation. With your demonstrated experience using database technologies, you are able to analyse and develop projection models that will apply statistical measures for verification.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

 

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering innovative data solutions using databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and database driven development, web-based data visualisation Geographic Information Systems (GIS) (ESRI, Mapbox, PostGIS), and leveraging industry RESTful APIs to deliver strategic outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience working with disparate data sources for problem solving and to implement self serving solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in analysing and developing projection models and apply statistical measures for verification.

This option would allow the WWCC to naturally expire without further communication needed with the employee. The employer obligations under the WWCC would apply for duration of the WWCC’s validity (up to 5 years)
