About the role
This role provides specialist sourcing expertise for a range of Goods & Services Procurement projects. Working in a highly collaborative team based throughout NSW, you will manage the end-to-end sourcing activities from procurement planning to the development and award of contracts. The role is responsible for ensuring best practice and value for money outcomes to meet business and operational needs.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, specifically sourcing, and knowledge of procurement legislation and policies.
- Ability to manage competing priorities to deliver quality outcome in tight timeframes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
- Tertiary qualifications in procurement or contract management and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.

This option would allow the WWCC to naturally expire without further communication needed with the employee. The employer obligations under the WWCC would apply for duration of the WWCC’s validity (up to 5 years).
