- Salary: $137,742 Package - includes salary $110,266 - $122,058, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
About the role
- Undertake technical and architectural design activities of priority projects
- Support the development of 3D block and stack masterplans of school designs
- Assist with investigations into design activities and application of EFSG, Pattern Book and design principles for NSW school’s framework
- Provide advice and guidance to project teams and stakeholders
- Preparation and presentation of project design briefs

About you
- Expertise in siting of buildings, feasibility site planning and use of architectural software including Rhino, Revit and Form as well as adobe InDesign
- Experience in School Design and knowledge of the EFSG (Education Facility Standards and Guidelines) preferable
- Experience in pre-school design preferrable
- Demonstrated experience in implementing business visions, strategies and project implementation plans
- Knowledge of NCC and Australian Standards, ensuring designs meet regulatory and safety standards
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
Essential requirements of the role
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental/Urban Planning or Architecture
