- Salary ranges from $84,659 to $92,701 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading
About the role
The Technology Utilisation Officer, based within Technology Enablement Services in the Operations Group, supports the delivery of stem.T4L and related ICT services to NSW public schools. This includes providing event support, ensuring compliance with departmental standards, and contributing to effective school engagement and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver technical and logistical support for STEM technologies and ICT services in NSW schools
- Troubleshoot issues on-site and remotely, guiding schools in ICT adoption
- Manage device fleets (iOS, Windows, Chromebooks) with focus on security and usability
- Support events, professional learning, and deployments with cross-team collaboration
- Maintain accurate records, registers, and operational information

About you
You Bring:
- Experience with mobile device management for iOS, Windows, and Chromebooks, and cloud-based enterprise tools
- Knowledge of STEM technologies such as 3D printing, robotics, and virtual reality, with ability to support deployment and maintenance
- Hands-on experience providing on-site and remote ICT support to diverse users with varying digital literacy
- Strong technical skills, organisational ability, and customer-focused approach
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
