NSW Department of Education has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to join the School Infrastructure NSW team as a Senior Asset Services Officer.
About the role
School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is providing asset services and delivery of new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school.
The senior asset services officer provides support to schools within the Asset Management region, that includes the delivery of capital works projects and all aspects of facilities management, to support timely and effective project delivery.

About you
- Current NSW Driver’s License and willingness to travel across an assigned Asset Management region
- Experience in project management; MW21 contract preparation and administration; planning pathways; Crown certification; scoping projects; stakeholder engagement and management, and customer service; time, cost and quality management; project reporting and record keeping
- Background in construction, property or trade preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people

As a condition of employment, successful candidates who have not previously worked for the department will be required to provide a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance number. This option would allow the WWCC to naturally expire without further communication needed with the employee. The employer obligations under the WWCC would apply for duration of the WWCC’s validity (up to 5 years)
