About the role

 

As the Advisor, your role is to ensure the delivery of high-quality service by providing expert advice and accurate information to key stakeholders. Acting as the subject matter expert, you will support pre-employment and ongoing screening processes, ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation and policy requirements.

 

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Build and maintain productive stakeholder relationships and team collaboration.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends and legislative reforms
  • Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical expertise and support efficient systems, processes, and policy implementation
  • Analyse systems and data to produce insightful report that support informed decision-making
  • Demonstrate commitment to the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG supporting outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in Human Resource Management, Organisational Psychology or a relevant discipline
  • A valid paid Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
