About the role
The role assesses applications in relation to approvals and amendments of early childhood education and care services in accordance with policy and regulatory provisions.

About you
We are seeking highly skilled Assessment and Risk Officers to join our team.

 

The preferred candidates will have:
 

  • Proven experience in information gathering and analysis, preferable in a regulatory environment.
  • Ability to assess, prioritise, and mitigate risks and the ability to present clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with stakeholders, and a professional and respectful approach to communication.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload, and leverage technology to improve performance and effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

 

Essential requirements of the role

  • A valid Working with Children Check clearance.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
