About the role

The assistant design officer provides a range of administrative and project support to fellow colleagues within the service innovation team. The role is responsible for coordinating and supporting teams that collaboratively progress system and service design, project delivery and improvements in tight time frames.

About you 

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • A demonstrated understanding and interest in human-centered design principles and practices.
  • An ability to plan and prioritise across multiple projects and tasks.
  • An ability to proactively share ideas to improve project delivery and team effectiveness and take initiative to improve team ways of working.

 
Essential requirements of the role

  • A valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
