- Competitive remuneration ranging from $113,574 to $125,720 plus super & annual leave loading.
We are seeking a Contract Advisory Specialist to provide support and guidance to Department of Education Contract Managers in order that they can effectively manage suppliers and contractors and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
In this role, you will guide stakeholders in resolving contract-related issues and developing essential skills in contract management. You will assist stakeholders with effective management of contractual processes such as variations, extensions, novation’s and terminations. Your contributions will include preparation of contractual documentation and briefing notes, all while following applicable process and handling commercially sensitive information with care.

About you
- Minimum 2 years contract management and procurement experience
- Skilled in guiding stakeholders to efficiently and effectively meet the Departments needs.
- Excellent communication skills that foster strong relationships with stakeholders, promoting collaboration and innovation.
- Adept at investigation of contractual terms and conditions, and at relaying the findings of those investigations to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Passionate about enhancing contract management process and delivering outstanding results.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g., CIPS, PCTP level 3), or experience considered equivalent.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires, as long as you remain in a non–child-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid.
