As a Digital Design Advisor, you will play an important role in the design and development of effective digital learning. Your contribution will enhance the skills, knowledge, professional development and compliance of employees across the organisation. You will work alongside a senior learning designer and will be responsible for developing and updating eLearning modules ensuring they align with the organisational policies and procedures.
This role will provide immense growth opportunities to either solidify or expand your current learning design knowledge and skills. Utilising both creative and strategic thinking, you will get to work on meaningful eLearning modules that will impact our entire workforce.

About you
- Experience in a digital design or eLearning environment
- Experience in the use of online authoring tools and other relevant learning design applications like Articulate and/or Adobe Suite
- Able to collaborate with SMEs to translate content into learning
- Experience in designing accessible, user-focused solutions
- Committed to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or relevant qualifications or experience in Learning and Development, Human Resources, or a related field
- Experience in learning design, instructional design or content development
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Proven experience developing and maintaining document templates
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
