  • Salary staring from 84,659 up to 92,701 + super + accrued flex leaves

 

About the role

 

We are looking for an organised, proactive, and tech-savvy Executive Assistant (EA) to support a senior leader and ensure smooth coordination across a fast-paced and dynamic team. This is a key enabling role for someone who thrives on staying across a constant flow of requests, managing workflows, and helping drive clarity and focus on strategic priorities.

 

You will:

  • Track, triage and assign incoming requests from the Executive Director’s office, internal directorates, and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage diary and task scheduling, anticipating potential clashes and making informed adjustments.
  • Ensure the Director is fully prepared for key meetings with timely access to briefing materials, talking points and relevant documents.
  • Coordinate meeting agendas, take and circulate notes, and track follow-up actions to support accountability.
  • Apply sound judgement to determine what to escalate, when to hold, and when to step in with a practical solution.
  • Leverage digital tools to track approvals, support delivery, and maintain a clear overview of team and leadership priorities.

About you –

  • Experience in a fast-paced executive support or coordination role, ideally within government or a large organisation.

 

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

 

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.

 

  • High level of initiative, discretion and judgement.

 

  • Familiarity with managing executive workflows, approval processes, and strategic priorities.

 

  • Sound knowledge of MS office especially Outlook and online planning software

This option would allow the WWCC to naturally expire without further communication needed with the employee. The employer obligations under the WWCC would apply for duration of the WWCC’s validity (up to 5 years)
