  • Salary from $125,693 - $ 138,510 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading

 

 

About the role

 

As the Hub Coordinator your leadership is key to guiding a team across designated operational areas and locations, to ensure early childhood education and care (ECEC) services operate safely and comply with regulatory standards and effectively implement the National Quality Framework to help keen children safe in high quality education and care.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team to undertake risk-based regulatory functions to ensure the quality of NSW ECEC services.
  • Collaborate with other teams to strengthen workforce capability and sector engagement.
  • Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement by sharing insights from frontline regulatory practice.
  • Collaborate with leaders across the operations network to manage and respond to operational risk in the sector.

About you

 

  • Passionate about the health, safety and wellbeing of children and committed to making a difference across Early Childhood Education and Care services in NSW.
  • Have strong knowledge of or experience of direct service provision in the ECEC sector.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage people in a regulatory environment.
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to prioritise in a risk-based setting.
  • Excellent literacy and communication skills.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders.
  • Able to interpret and effectively apply regulatory frameworks.

 

Key knowledge and experience

 

Essential requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.
  • A valid driver licence.
  • A valid Working with Children Check clearance for paid employment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
