  • Temporary Full-Time until 30 June 2026
  • Located in Parramatta with flexible working arrangements available
  • Package includes salary ($103,089 - $116,969), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

 

 

About the role

The Librarian is responsible for the delivery of specialist library, information and research support services to the staff of the NSW Department of Education.

About you

  • Well-developed knowledge of library and information management concepts, principles and theory.
  • Demonstrate experience in the application of library and information systems, collections, services or subject knowledge.
  • Knowledge of current issues and priorities in the school and vocational education and training sectors.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
