About the role

 

The Manager, Intelligent Automation role leads a team of Robotic Process Automation developers to discover, develop and run RPA solutions that streamline operations and enhance user experiences for the Department. The role involves developing robotic process automation solutions and driving multiple projects to completion within time and budget constraints. The responsibilities include:

 

  • Develop and mature our existing Robotic Operating Model, overseeing the design, development, and governance of the Intelligent Automation Hub.
  • Providing expert advice to drive digital transformation and expand the Intelligent Automation function.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define automation requirements and gather feedback on opportunities for automation, delivering trusted, effective automation solutions.
  • Delivering presentations, report on outcomes, and advocate for improvements.
  • Mentor and collaborate with team members, sharing knowledge and fostering best practices in automation

About you 

 

  • Must have 3+ years RPA developer experience.
  • Experience working in a RPA function that operates at scale.
  • Proven ability to lead staff effectively and managing competing priorities
  • Strong vision and tenacity to drive improvements.
  • Strong communication skills for building relationships, stakeholder consultation, and preparing technical documents.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

 

Essential requirements of the role

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Business related discipline and/or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
