  • Ongoing Full-Time
  • Located in Parramatta with flexible working arrangements available
  • $189,735. Package includes salary ($145,378 - $168,130), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

 

 

About the role

The Manager role develops business plans, coordinates resources and leads the strategic direction of the functional area. The role designs, implements and evaluates innovative solutions that meet business/functional objectives, continuous improvement targets and informs strategic planning, working closely with internal and external stakeholders. The role leads the HR System Solutions team within the Performance, Accreditation and Systems functional area.

 

The HR System Solutions function is accountable for the Department’s HR systems landscape. The function works to leverage the Department’s technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes and to promote the successful delivery of HR information and technology systems throughout the Department. They provide advisory services and guidance to management regarding system requirements based on Departmental needs and input into the overall HR service delivery strategy and technology roadmap to support the objectives of the Human Resources Directorate and Department more broadly.

Essential requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in Human Resource Management, Information Technology, Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

As a condition of employment, successful candidates who have not previously worked for the department will be required to provide a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance number. This option would allow the WWCC to naturally expire without further communication needed with the employee. The employer obligations under the WWCC would apply for duration of the WWCC’s validity (up to 5 years)
