  • Salary ranges from $145,378 to $168,130 plus employers’ contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

 

 

About the role

The Manager, Program Business Rules Enablement ensures the rules that underpin Training Services’ payment and compliance systems are accurate, robust and aligned with policy and contract intent.

 

You will lead a team responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining the logic behind automated VET provider payments. Your work will streamline processes, improve data quality, and support timely, accurate payments.

 

The role combines technical understanding, strategic thinking, and practical delivery.  You will work across the organisation to translate complex contractual requirements into clear, scalable solutions - while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

The preferred candidate will:

 

  • Have a deep understanding of the Vocational Education and Training sector. (Desirable)
  • Have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across policy, program, technology and data teams.
  • Have experience designing and maintaining automated rules, validations and controls
  • Lead and engage teams through complexity and change
  • Be able to spot problems early, drive improvements, and balance strategic goals with day-to-day delivery
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

This option would allow the WWCC to naturally expire without further communication needed with the employee. The employer obligations under the WWCC would apply for duration of the WWCC’s validity (up to 5 years)
