About the role
We are seeking committed Problematic and/or Harmful Sexualised Behaviours (PHSB) Officers to join our team. In this vital role, you will receive reports and provide essential support, guidance, and education to schools addressing incidents of PHSB.

About you
Ideal candidates will have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to manage time efficiently, effectively and work towards tight deadlines to deliver results
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to collaborate well with others
- A commitment to capacity building, empowering schools and communities to effectively address PHSB incidents
- Empathy and sensitivity when dealing with issues involving children and families
- An understanding of trauma-informed care and best practices in managing problematic and harmful sexualised behaviours

Key Knowledge and Experience
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Hold a valid clearance to work with children (Working with Children Check) for paid employment.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
