About the role

 

The Record Training Officer is responsible for the development, design and delivery of fit-for-purpose training programs on records management including the use of Content Manager Records Management System.

 

The role is aimed at enhancing staff knowledge and skills on recordkeeping practices across the department, while also contributing to continuous improvement through stakeholder engagement and evaluation of training effectiveness.

About you

 

As a new member of this growing team, you bring experience in designing and delivering impactful training and drive capability uplift. You will also:

 

  • Apply strong change management experience and stakeholder engagement to support system improvement and training.
  • Have effective communication skills with the ability to simplify complex processes and concepts in a clear manner.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding on complex systems and act as a subject matter expert to provide practical user-focused solutions.

 

Key Knowledge and experience

 

Essential requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualifications in education, training and development or demonstrated equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
  • Valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.
