About the role
We’re currently seeking a Senior Advisor for the Early Career Academy Initiative to help shape the next generation of educators!
You’ll be joining a team that plays a vital role in one of the department’s key initiatives that aims at attracting and retaining high-quality teachers. You’ll provide project management and system support services, ensuring the delivery of accurate, reliable and targeted outcomes that truly meet customer needs and expectations. Your expertise will directly contribute to strengthening the teaching workforce and shaping the future of education across NSW.

About you
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail with strong project and time management skills.
- Adaptable and flexible to changing business requirements and priorities.
- Experienced in working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (SalesForce preferably)
- Experience in undertaking research and analysis and preparing reports, briefs and maintaining project documentation to support clear and timely outcomes.
- Curiosity to stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, publications and channels to provide relevant advice and support.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in Business, Arts, Education or a related discipline.
- Current and valid Driver Licence (provisional or above) with willingness and ability to travel intrastate and interstate to meet delivery requirements.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires, as long as you remain in a non–child-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid.
