  • Clerk Grade 9/10 with salary ranging from $120,859 to $133,183 + super and annual leave loading

About the role

The Senior Programs Officer oversees and coordinates the development and execution of a variety of policy and complex projects, contributing to the implementation of policy and service initiatives that support organizational goals and government commitments.

About you
We are seeking a qualified candidate with the following essential skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing policy initiatives and complex projects that align with organisational and government objectives.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Proficient in conducting research and analysis to inform policy decisions and project planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and communication.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to identify challenges and develop effective solutions in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Familiarity with strategies for monitoring and evaluating policy and project outcomes to ensure effectiveness and accountability.
  • A strong understanding of and commitment to supporting organizational goals and government commitments through effective policy delivery.

 

Essential requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
  • A valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, the value of public education.
