About the role
This Senior Research Analyst undertakes quantitative research and analysis and manages projects to support achievement of the Centre’s strategic objectives across early childhood, education and training.

About you
- Show experience in undertaking research and analysis using quantitative methods to support achievement of strategic priorities across all early childhood, education and training.
- Demonstrate experience and/or knowledge in designing, analysing, and reporting on high quality surveys to enable the delivery of public schools’ surveys in line with the department’s Plan for NSW Public Education.
- Capable in managing the implementation of key projects with the guidance of senior officers, ensuring project rigour, transparency and effectiveness, and timely delivery of agreed outcomes, to support senior staff in the development of broader projects and initiatives.
- Build effective relationships and work collaboratively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify and understand emerging education trends and requirements and to identify various stakeholder views.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Hold a valid clearance to work with children (Working with Children Check for paid employment).
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
