  • Location: Parramatta with flexible working arrangements available)
  • $124,992 Package includes salary ($99,938 - $110,271), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

 

 

About the role

The role supports the triaging and workflow of a range of incoming notifications including complaints and incidents, in accordance with the directorate’s regulatory requirements.

About you

  • Able to follow workflows and manage competing priorities to meet procedural and legislative timeframes.
  • Capable of identifying which complaints or incidents need escalation, especially those with potential reputational or stakeholder impact.
  • Monitors case progress and identifies risks accurately to ensure deadlines are met and records are kept current.
  • Can clearly and professionally communicate updates to stakeholders and draft well-structured written reports and correspondence.
  • Able to interpret regulatory data to provide informed advice that supports strategic decisions and responses.
  • Takes responsibility for tasks and follows through to ensure timely and accurate completion of investigations and documentation.
  • Works effectively with a coordinator and team, contributing insights and information that support broader regulatory efforts.
  • Handles sensitive or high-impact matters with appropriate confidentiality and awareness of media and stakeholder sensitivities.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

  • A valid Working with Children Check clearance
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
