·       Multiple full-time University Partnerships Lead (Clerk Grade 9/10) roles – one based at University of Newcastle (Newcastle), one based at Australian Catholic University (Strathfield), one based at Western Sydney University (Bankstown/Kingswood) and one based at University of Technology Sydney (Ultimo)

·       Flexible work arrangements available

·       Remuneration of $125,693 - $138,510 plus super and leave loading

 

About the Opportunities 

We are excited to announce openings for multiple temporary University Partnerships Lead- Grade 9/10 positions until 30 June 2027; and welcome applications from individuals with experience and enthusiasm for partnership engagement to support teacher attraction and quality. And from this recruitment process, a talent pool will be created to fill future temporary and ongoing University Partnerships Lead- Clerk Grade 9/10 roles.

 

Roles will be primarily based on campus within University of Newcastle (UoN), the Australian Catholic University (ACU), Western Sydney University (WSU) or University of Technology Sydney (UTS) the successful applicants may also be required to work from home or attend the NSW Department of Education’s headquarters in Parramatta.

About you

You are an experienced teacher and accomplished partnership strategist with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who:

  • Will be collaborative, agile, and disciplined about delivering outcomes for all students of NSW.
  • Are excited by challenges and thrive working in an environment where you can problem solve and build innovative teacher attraction strategies that you know will make a difference in our schools and communities.
  • Have relevant experience delivering partnership programs and projects.
  • Have a results-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple partnerships simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Are confident navigating multiple platforms as well as consulting with subject matter experts to identify and design fit for purpose teacher attraction strategies that are responsive to priority initiatives across the School Workforce Directorate.

Essential requirements, experience and knowledge

 

  • Extensive experience as an Educator in the K-12 classroom environment
  • Tertiary qualifications and relevant experience in Education, Business, Human Resources, Communications or related discipline.
  • A valid driver's license (provisional or above) and ability to undertake short term travel.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
