About the role

 

The Executive Assistant provides diverse administrative support to the Director within the Kimberwalli unit of Aboriginal Education and Communities Directorate. This role requires managing competing priorities within agreed timeframes and ensuring efficient customer service is delivered. The responsibilities include:

 

  • Managing and organising files using record management systems
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Preparing range of documents including briefs, reports and presentations as per business needs
  • Supporting routine financial transactions or purchases while complying with relevant policies

About you

 

Essential requirements of the role

  • This position is targeted to the employment of an Aboriginal person and is authorised by the Department's EEO Management Plan in accordance with Part 9A of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
